Greetings!

1. Continued gratitude for our Watch Dogs! We love having you and the help you give our staff and students!

2. We had an amazing author's visit this week from author Susan Stevens Crummel. If you children haven't yet shared with you what they learned, please ask them about it!

3. Just a friendly reminder to label your children's outerwear with their names! This includes hats! :)

4. Halloween is next week! Please read below for a very important message, as ONLY parents and volunteers who are signed up for the event will be joining us inside for the parties.

Dear Parents,

We are excited to celebrate Halloween with our students! We want to remind everyone that only parents who have signed up to help with the classroom parties will be permitted in the classrooms. This procedure is in place to ensure the safety and security of our students, and we will strictly adhere to this list.

However, all families are welcome to join us for the Halloween parade, which will take place outside from 3:00 to 3:15 PM. We encourage you to come out and enjoy the festivities with your children!

As we prepare for this event, we kindly ask that everyone models respect and kindness toward our staff members at the sign-in table. They are working diligently to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for the children.

The PTO is a great way to meet other parents, find out about PTO sponsored events and volunteer on several event committees. By joining and/or being a volunteer, you are working with other parents and teachers/staff members, to help enrich the educational experience for all students.

Thursday, November 15th is Willowdale Day at Fat Brain Toys. Make sure to mention Willowdale at checkout so 15% of the sales go back to the Willowdale PTO!

The first day of school for the. 2024-2025 school year will be Thursday, August 8th.
