Coyote Chronicles
Cloverdale Families,
Week one of the 24-25 school year was a success! It has been so wonderful seeing students in our classrooms learning and having a great time! Each child received a Coyote spirit wear shirt last week as a way to kick off this year. We have some important events coming up, including curriculum night, so we hope to see you there. Please reach out with any questions. Have a great week!

Parent Volunteers
We welcome parent volunteers at Cloverdale! Volunteering can look different depending on what you are interested in doing. If you are interested in volunteering in the building this year, please fill out the google form linked below. This form must be completed prior to any volunteer opportunities. Thanks for your cooperation.
iReady Reading and Math Diagnostic
Students in 1-5 grade will take the first iReady reading diagnostic test August 27-29. The Math diagnostic test will take place September 3-5. The iReady diagnostic test provides a benchmark for teachers and staff to find out what students know and how to best support their learning and growth within the classroom. After the iReady diagnostic, iReady assigns an individualized learning path for each student to follow for the year. For more information on iReady, please visit the iReady family center linked here.
Arrival/Dismissal Procedures
Thank you to everyone for your flexibility and understanding as we changed our dismissal procedures for walkers. Here are a few quick reminders:
Please pick ONE way your child will get home each day. It causes less confusion for the child and staff.
Students going out door 14 are for the car line ONLY. Please do not walk up to the car line and take your child from the line. At that point, you are considered a walker and you should be picking up your child at door 7.
If you want to drive to the school, park, and then walk up to the building to get your child, there is plenty of space to park behind the school on Stonewood Circle and then walk up to door 7 to pick your child. Again, please do NOT park in the front by Merbach and take your child out of the car line. The reason we changed walker dismissal is to keep our students safe and not have parents and students walking through the car line and parking lot.
If we all do our part and do what is expected, then all our students can get home safely. Again, thank you for understanding.
