A Message From The Principal

January has flown by, and February is here! We’re looking forward to an exciting month filled with incredible opportunities for our students.

First, let’s talk about our Fliers visit and Eagles Pep Rally! Due to our recent delayed opening, we weren’t able to hold our Flyers assembly as planned. While this was disappointing, in true EBE fashion, we won’t let Mother Nature stop us—we’re working on rescheduling the Fliers event. A special thanks goes out to Ms. Langley Barnes and Mr. Bill Twaddle for organizing this special opportunity for our students.

Now, let’s talk about the Birds! We’re thrilled to announce that Fox News and Jennifer Frederick will be visiting EBE tomorrow, just days ahead of the highly anticipated Super Bowl rematch against the Kansas City Chiefs! With nearly 500 enthusiastic Eagles fans and a school decked out in Kelly Green, we’re ready to show our team spirit and cheer the Eagles on to victory.

Fox News reached out last week, remembering how our students did an amazing job supporting the Sixers a few years ago. Now, they want to give us the chance to showcase our Eagles pride! Students are encouraged to go all out—dressing from head to toe in Eagles gear, including hats and accessories.

Be sure to tune in for a live, three-minute interview/showcase at 9:30 AM, with a 30-second teaser airing beforehand. We’d love for you to tune in on live tv or set your recorders to capture all the excitement!

Go Birds!

STEAM Night was once again a huge success, thanks to our dedicated staff and the incredible support of our community. A special shoutout to our amazing teachers, reading and math specialists, and instructional coach for making the night so impactful. It was truly a valuable experience for our students!

EBE sends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in our 5th Grade Bingo Night! As always, it was a fantastic success.

A special shout-out to our Fifth-Grade Parents Committee for their tireless planning and organization—it truly showed in the seamless execution of the event. We also extend our gratitude to our dedicated fifth-grade teachers for their support and participation.

Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we raised valuable funds to support upcoming fifth-grade events. This night wouldn’t have been possible without our incredible EBE community.

The annual Kid's Heart Challenge Jump Rope Fundraising Event is here. Students will prepare for the event during PE class and raise donations to help fight heart disease via the American Heart Assoc. Please consider an online donation to help save lives. KHC Event: Fri 2/21/25
