Challenge Dates: January 13 - March 21
It's time to start putting together your teams for the upcoming 10 week challenge. Throughout this challenge, the Live Healthy Iowa (LHI) community will be cheering you on as you work toward healthy goals and building new habits. And the LHI Team will be there with tools and resources to support your efforts, and awards to celebrate your progress!
Your registration includes a challenge T-shirt, access to a personal online dashboard, weekly motivational messages, complimentary subscription to Fresh Pickings magazine, and a $10 discount on Live Healthy Iowa 5K registration.

January Wellness Challenge: Healthy Hydration
During the month of January our focus will be on hydration. Print the form to the right and track your daily water intake. Upload at the end of January for the chance to win a wellness prize.
Reminder: Monthly wellness challenges are open to ALL staff regardless of insurance enrollment.
Deductibles and Out-of-Pocket Maximums reset January 1
Don't forget that your annual deductible and out-of-pocket maximums reset January 1:

Early Retirement Stipend Application Deadline: January 30
Employees must complete the full 24/25 school year, and meet all three of the following requirements to be eligible to participate in this plan:
- Full-time employees age 62 or older by June 30, 2025,
- Have at least 25 years of service with our District, and
- Eligible to begin retirement through the IPERS program.
Eligible employees who meet the conditions will need to submit a Notice of Early Retirement Letter and Application for Early Retirement Benefits to Kim Smith by January 30, 2025.
Note: Any years worked part-time, but was at least 20 hours weekly, will be counted as one-half year of credit.

HR Appointments
In an effort to better serve our staff, it is appreciated if staff can make appointments to meet with members of the HR team. This allows us to be better prepared and more focused on your needs.
Mid-Year FSA Check In
If you are currently enrolled in a medical or dependent care FSA, make sure you check on your balance. Remember FSA balances are use or lose and services must be incurred by June 30, 2025.
