WES Express Newsletter
February Edition
Dear WES Families,
We want to take a moment to express our sincere appreciation for your partnership and support. Your involvement, whether attending school events, assisting with homework and projects, or simply encouraging your child each day, plays a vital role in their growth and success. The foundation you provide at home strengthens the learning that happens in our classrooms, and we are truly grateful for all that you do.
As we continue this semester together, we look forward to your continued support in helping our students thrive. Your encouragement and engagement make all the difference in their academic and personal development.
February is also a special time for reflection and learning as we celebrate Black History Month. We encourage you to take time to talk with your child about the importance of recognizing and honoring the diverse backgrounds and cultures that enrich our community. By celebrating the heritage of others and appreciating our differences, we help our children develop empathy, respect, and a deeper sense of unity.
All of these values align with our "We Before Me" vision at WES Elementary. When we work together, support one another, and celebrate what makes each of us unique, we create a school environment where every child feels valued and empowered to succeed.
Thank you for being an essential part of our WES family. We look forward to an exciting and meaningful semester ahead!
With gratitude,
Venitra Senegal
