A Note from Mrs. Solomon
Good afternoon wild Rose Families!
Spring break is here and it feels like the weeks are flying by. When we return from break there are a lot of happenings in and out of school.
Students in 3rd, 4th & 5th grade will be participating in IAR, please have their Chromebook charged and be sure they are getting a good night's rest and healthy breakfast. They have been working hard to prepare and share all they have learned.
We have a number of after school events. The Wild Rose Spring event is April 12th. Volunteer sign-up and events are listed and linked below. The St. Charles Art show, will showcase a number of our Wild Rose Panthers works.
Kindergarten registration is on going, if you haven't registered your own kindergartener or if you know of a family with a incoming kindergarten student please remind them to register as soon as possible. Purchase of yearbooks and students can enter the cover contest for this year's 2023-2024 year book cover.
Hope everyone is able to rest and recharge over the next week!

Illinois Readiness Assessments (IAR)
Upon returning from spring break our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students will be participating in IAR assessments. Please be sure your child's Chromebook is charged each and every day, as the assessments are digital assessments and we do not have loaners. Be sure your child has headphones to use as well. It is important for students to get a good night's sleep and eat a healthy breakfast each day. Regardless of testing this is good practice for students of elementary age.
Our students will be participating in these assessments during the morning portion of the day. Our specials schedule will run a little differently for our students in order for us to accommodate all students. If you child comes home and shares that their day was a little different.
Thank you to the many families that have sent in snacks and mints to support our students through this assessment.
Snacks at School
Students across the grade levels have snack throughout their day. We have noticed a high increase in students coming to school without a snack and asking for one. While we always provide snacks for students when they have forgotten from time to time, it has been becoming more often than usual. Please work with your child to send them with a snack daily.
