A Note From Mrs. Smith...
Our Back-to-School night was a tremendous success on Wednesday night. Thank you to all who attended. Fr. Jim presented the State of the School Address and PTA President Mrs. Kirchner introduced the PTA Executive Board and reminded parents that all are welcomed and encouraged to get involved in PTA activities. Parents are the first part of PTA - Parent-Teacher-Association.
Anyone who was unable to attend should reach out to the teachers with any questions about classroom policies.
Many thanks to Mrs. Radecki who organized the Back-to-School Social with the help of the PTA Executive Board and other parent volunteers and student helpers. It was great to see so many families enjoy this night together.
Today I had the honor of representing OLGC School at the Diocese of Trenton PTA Fall Conference. Bishop O'Connell was the celebrant, and Fr. Jim concelebrated along with other priests of the Diocese. Their ongoing support of our Catholic schools is always appreciated.
God Bless,
Mrs. Smith
2024-2025 OLGC School Handbook
The OLGC 2024-2025 Parent/Student Handbook is below. It is also posted on the school website under Useful Forms at the bottom of the left column, and in the Current Parent section under Forms. Every parent is asked to review the handbook carefully and submit the form indicating that you agree to its contents. Please disregard the due date of September 13 on the form since we released the handbook at Back-to-School Night on September 18. All parents are asked to submit this form on or before October 1.
FROM OUR SCHOOL NURSE
Nurse Julia Ferrandino is our OLGC School. She asked that I share the documents below. The first one lists required immunizations. Preschool children who are 59 months old or younger as of December 31 must have a Flu immunization. If you have any questions about exemptions to this, please contact Nurse Ferrandino.
If you have not provided a current copy of the Universal Health Form completed by your child's physician, please do so. Your child's physician will complete this form. THIS IS FOR ALL STUDENTS IN ALL GRADES.
