Principal Message for End of Year
Cheyenne Families,
Thank you to all of our community members, families, PTO, and students who donated time, items and provided gifts during Teacher Appreciation Week.
The end of the year is quickly approaching. As we get closer to the end, everything must have a deadline and finality. Grade levels have been communicating with families on final deadlines for assignments, projects, and assessments. It is important to understand that staff contracts end on Friday, May 24th. They will have finalized and finished their grades by this date.
We are still focusing every day on the guidelines for success and we need your support to ensure that the final days of school are successful. These expectations are still in effect until the end of the final day. Please have a conversation with your child about following the guidelines below. Our goal is to ensure that all students can participate in the end-of-year fun. If students are unable to follow the guidelines and expectations of the school and district, we will contact you to discuss their eligibility to take part in the festivities and any additional consequences.
We look forward to a fantastic final two weeks with finalizing academic progress, celebrating our students' final music performances, and recognizing our 8th graders' final day at Cheyenne.
Sincerely,
Michelle Grinsteiner
Principal
8th Grade Celebration
8th Grade Cheyenne Families,
PTO has worked diligently to organize an amazing 8th grade Celebration for our students! This special day will take place on the last day of school, Thursday, May 23rd.
To make this happen, we are asking for $20 donations from each family, if possible. If you feel led to donate more to cover expenses or to help families that cannot afford that at this time, please feel free!!
You may send donations via cash, checks (made payable to Cheyenne PTO) or online https://square.link/u/ihKdTYk3
Please note on any payment that it is to go towards “8th Grade Celebration”.
The donations will help pay for:
•t-shirts for each student (see below)
•Chick-Fil-A sandwiches, chips, and drinks for each student
•2 dessert food trucks with one item from each
•photo backdrops
•photographer/Photo Booth
Thank you for helping us make this happen as we work to create one final memory for our 8th graders!
