Parent Newsletter
August 7
Dear Panther Families,
I hope this message finds you well. Monday begins a new 9 week grading period. All grades must be entered in by Monday afternoon, therefore all students should've already turned in any missing work.
As we approach a short week, I want to remind you that students will be off from Thursday, October 10th, until Monday, October 14th. Classes will resume on Tuesday, October 15th, which will be an A day.
Maintaining passing grades is essential for our students as part of our program, and I encourage you to remind them of this commitment. If they need assistance, we offer tutoring every day. Students can meet with their teachers to discuss the best days and times to attend tutoring sessions, whether it be before school, after school, or during the last part of advisory.
Additionally, students in RLA and Math who are preparing for the STAAR or EOC will begin their mastery checks this week. These assessments will help gauge their learning progress during the first nine weeks of school. Science and Social Studies students will also participate in mastery checks.
Lastly, please ensure that your children are going to bed on time and are prepared for their school day. Your support is invaluable in helping them succeed.
Thank you for your continued partnership, and have a wonderful week!
