Resolution to Extend J. Adler Roofing Contract
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there are various supply chain disruptions throughout the roofing industry. As a result, the Director of Facilities Management, Ryan Schulz, asked the Board of Education to extend the contract for the roofing project at Thomas Middle School with J. Adler. The Board of Education adopted the Resolution to extend the contract of J. Adler Roofing beyond 30 days and delegate limited authority to the Director of Facilities Management to grant further extensions should supply chain delays continue.

Crossing Guard Locations for 2021-22
Requests for crossing guard placements are considered on an annual basis, approved by the Board of Education, and set for the entire school year.
Per District 25 guidelines, if there are vacant positions for an extended period of time, the District will move guards to ensure that the locations that qualified with the highest number of points (least safe) are filled first.

PRESENTATION OF 2021-22 TENTATIVE BUDGET
Assistant Superintendent of Business and Finance, Stacey Mallek, presented the tentative budget for the 2021-2022 school year to the Board of Education.
The schedule for the potential adoption of the 2021-2022 budget is as follows:
- August 12, 2021 - Presentation of 2021-22 tentative budget
- August 13, 2021 - Publish notice for public hearing
- September 23, 2021 - Public Hearing
- September 23, 2021 - Adoption of final budget

Approve the COVID-19 Testing Support Agreement with The Board of Trustee of the University of Illinois.
The District 25 Board of Education passed a motion, approving the use of the University of Illinois’ COVID-19 SHIELD testing in District 25 schools. The SHIELD Illinois saliva-based test developed by the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), is able to detect COVID-19 and its variants in symptomatic, pre-symptomatic, and asymptomatic individuals.
