Dear Falcon Families,
I hope everyone is having a fantastic start to the second week of school! Weβre excited to announce that this week is the Falcon Olympics Track event, where our students will have the opportunity to showcase their athletic skills and spirit. It promises to be a fun and energetic week for all involved!
Please note that after this regular week, we will be enjoying a 3-day weekend in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. School will be closed on Monday, January 20th, allowing us all a chance to reflect and celebrate the legacy of Dr. King.

Regular Week Schedule
Students are on the regular week schedule. The schedules below begin the week of Monday, August 12.
- On Thursdays all students start at 8:30am, be ready for more morning traffic.
- On Thursdays all students get out at 2:23pm, be ready for more after school traffic.
- Student Union and all offices close at 2:30pm every Thursday (will open next day at 8:00am)
- Singleton Parking lot gates will be closed around 9:00am
- Singleton Pedestrian gate will be closed at the start of 2nd period (9:40am most days)

Baseball:
Baseball will be conducting Preseason lifting and training for anyone who is interested in joining the team. If anyone is interested, please see Coach Madsen in Room 404.
Golf:
All students interested in playing golf, there is an important informational meeting after school at 4 pm on Monday January 13th in room 410. Go Falcons!
Track & Field:
There is an important Track & Field meeting in room 304 during lunch on Thursday 1/16. We will discuss important information about our upcoming season.

Class of 2025, please take a moment to schedule your senior portrait in the San Jose Studio. The scheduling site is now ready for you to self-schedule your senior portraits. Please use the link provided to reserve a day and time for your appointment.

Interclub Council
FAM:
Hey Falcons! Have you ever wanted to paint a mural? The FAM Club will be working on a mural for Lunar New Year 2025 (Year of the Snake)! If your interested in painting or just being part of the team come by room 105 to sign up and get more info. This mural will be up put up in a local festival. More details to come, festival dates will be 1/25/25 and 1/26/25.

What kind of issues does the Mental Health & Wellness Center address?
The center addresses a wide variety of issues such as:
Stress/anxiety symptoms
Low mood/depression symptoms
Sexual orientation/gender identity questions
Family/home Issues
Chronic illness
Substance use
Violence and abuse
Peer relationships/social supports
Cultural supports
Crisis support (during school hours)
Off-site resources & referrals
Tools available for students to use in the center include:
