Twice a year, we administer a survey to staff, students, and families regarding climate and culture at OEMS. The link below will bring you to a survey that should only take a few minutes to complete, but will give us valuable information about what we are doing well and what we can improve upon. Family Climate Survey - Fall 2024

On Wednesday October 9th, we will be administering a climate survey for students during Advisory.

The Ordean East PTA is looking for volunteers to bring dinner items for the teachers on Thursday, October 10th during parent-teacher conferences. If you are interested in participating, please click on the link below to sign-up. Thank you so much!

If you are interested in or planning to volunteer at Ordean East you will be asked to complete a Background Check. It is a simple process that requires you to provide your name and a valid email address (please do so on this form). Once you have done so you will receive an email invite from Trusted Employee, which will ask you to fully answer their questions and submit. Trusted Employee will process your application and notify us when you are an authorized volunteer. We hope this helps streamline opportunities for you to get involved in your child's school life!

PTA members and Parents! Join Ordean East Middle School students for Apple Crunch on Thursday October 10th during lunch. We'll need help handing out apples during 6th grade lunch from 11:21 to 11:51, 7th grade lunch from 12:13 to 12:43, and 8th grade lunch from 1:05 to 1:35. Built by Mr. Steinsberger's classes, the LFLAG is located out on Ordean East's front lawn!

Take a book as you wish. Bring a book as you like!
Take an artwork as you wish. If you'd like to CONTRIBUTE an artwork, please put it in the box in the Media Center, and we'll get it into the LFLAG for you!

Garden Crew will continue to meet after school Mondays. We will NOT meet on October 14th. This week we were harvesting potatoes, to do this you have to dig to find them!

History Day Club will NOT be meeting until October 24th due to conferences and MEA. We had our first session on October 3rd.
