STEAM Museum
This past week, through our partnership with Assistance League of Los Altos (ALLA) and Sunnyvale Education Foundation (SEF), we were able to bring a STEAM museum to school. Students were able to engage in all types of science, technology, arts, and music (STEAM) opportunities! Students had so much fun being a part of this amazing learning opportunity.
100th Day of School
We hit a milestone this week! On Monday, February 3rd we hit 100-days of school. Some of our teachers went all-in on the 100th day!
Leadership Rally
During our monthly leadership rally this week, our 4th-grade student leaders led us in celebrating black history month. During this time our school learned about the story of Ruby Bridges and how all people should be treated equally and fairly, no matter the color of their skin. In addition, our 2nd and 3rd grade ukulele club performed! Mr. Joe did a great job directing our young musicians.

Social Worker Spotlight
Greetings Bishop Families,
Over the last few weeks, my heart and mind have been with all of you impacted by the recent changes to immigration policy. I can see firsthand the fear and confusion that students are experiencing as they receive near daily news about changes that directly impact them, their parents, and their extended family. During times like these, children benefit from the adults around them providing accurate information and communicating a plan for family safety and security. Santa Clara County's Office of Immigrant Relations has some excellent resources for creating and communicating Family Preparedness Plans. These resources can be found here:
