Next week, our Student Council is hosting TWO exciting fundraisers to benefit children in our community this holiday season!
🌟 Spirit Week (Monday-Thursday) 🌟
Students can dress up for $1 per day! If you'd like to participate all week, please turn in $4 to homeroom teachers.
Here’s the lineup:
🎉 Monday: Twin/Multiples Day – Dress up with a friend or group!
🌴 Tuesday: Hawaiian Christmas – Combine your tropical and holiday vibes!
❄️ Wednesday: Dripmas – Bring out your most stylish Christmas drip!
🎁 Thursday: Crazy Christmas – Rock your favorite festive attire!
😴Friday: Pajama Day- Wear your Jammies! (No donation for this day!)
🍦 Ice Cream at Lunch 🍦: for $1. Limit: 1 per person per day.

🌟 Preparing for Adulthood Presentation 🌟
On Thursday, January 9th, our 6th-grade students will attend a presentation called "Preparing for Adulthood" led by our school nurses, Shelby and Leslie. This session will cover important topics about the emotional and physical changes of growing up, including puberty, hygiene, body changes, mood shifts, and healthy decision-making.
To ensure a comfortable environment, boys and girls will meet in separate rooms and have opportunities to ask questions. 💬
A form was sent home with each 6th-grade student. If you do NOT want your child to participate, please return the opt-out form by Monday, January 6th. If we don’t receive the form, we’ll assume your consent. ✅

🏀📣🤖 Extracurricular Expectations Reminder:
Families, if your child participates in basketball, cheer, or robotics, please keep up-to-date on their grades and behavior. Students who accumulate 4 infractions or earn an F in any class will be allowed to practice but will not compete or cheer at games. This policy was shared during sign-ups and is crucial for maintaining accountability and teamwork. Thank you for your support!
🧥❄️ Dress for the Weather:
As temperatures drop, please make sure your child comes to school with a coat, hat, and gloves. We will continue to go outside for recess unless conditions are unsafe.
🎁 Toys for Tots Collaboration! CCI is proud to support the 2024 Toys for Tots Campaign in Dubois County. Registration is now open to request toys or check your application status: Submit a Family Toy Request Form | Check Status. You can also support the campaign by bringing new, unwrapped toys to the CCI office and dropping them in the Toys for Tots box. Every donation helps brighten the holidays for children in need! 📚 Reading & iReady at Home
We don’t assign homework, but students can read and complete iReady lessons at home for extra Ranger Bucks!

Dear Multilingual Families, As the holiday season approaches, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your continued support throughout the school year. I also want to say how much I enjoy teaching your children English. I also love helping them with any of the challenges they may face at school. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with such wonderful children and families. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday and break with your children.
