November Life Skill for the Month- “Generosity”
Generosity is a world-changing principle: and it’s one that can be taught from a young age. It is an inherent motivator of the greatest power, which will emerge if given a chance. It teaches children that one act of kindness can make a difference. Please help us teach your child what generosity looks like. See tips below.
Activities to Do At Home:
Review definition and discuss what it “looks like”
Write about a time you felt good about giving
Compliment Can – pull a name & share compliments
Discuss / interview with parents or family about generosity
Catch ‘Em In the Act – award with verbal praise or “Caught Being Good” Cards
Please let me know if there is anything I can do for your child this year!

SCHOOL SPIRIT
Let's show our school spirit!
Students are encouraged to wear school colors or Kingston T-shirts every Friday. School colors are blue and white. Wearing school colors each week is a proactive way of reminding students to maintain our safe and caring school. Each class that has at least 50% or more students wearing school colors will have their class name entered in a drawing. Two classes will win the Cool Cat sign to be placed on their door for the week, as well as some type of incentive (candy, ice cream, chips, etc). Each week we hope to choose a different class. Please encourage your child to participate in Spirit Day every Friday!
Congratulations to our Spirit Day Winner Last Week Mrs. Watson's 5th-grade class.
