My mom's art ... in cards

My name is Jessie Newburn and while I'm admittedly and unabashedly biased, I love my mother's paintings and want to support her sharing them with others. My mother Eileen has been many things in her life: mother, wife, nurse, dancer, gardener, great cook ... and, in fits and bursts, an artist. (Though I'd bet most artists would say one doesn't do art as much as one is an artist.)

Now retired a few years, she has been working on her watercolor paintings again. Though she has a variety of paintings, styles and sizes, I'm particularly fond of her small holiday cards that she creates. And many of her friends and family members are lucky enough to get originals. I'm happy to work with her now to turn some of her art into digitally printed note cards that are offered to you here for purchase as gifts to give or for you to use yourself.

All cards are 4.25 x 5.5 inches with blank interiors. They are digitally printed by Corridor Printing in Columbia, Md., on Cougar Opaque Natural paper (a smooth cream-colored paper) for the Winter 2012 collection, and Cougar Opaque White for the Winter 2013 collection. All cards coming with matching A2-size envelopes.

Cards can be purchased as singles or in sets of three (a collection).

Collections are $5 each and come wrapped in a simple bow. Each collection, e.g. Winter 2013, Winter 2012, includes three cards and three matching envelopes. I find that they serve well as a sweet, inexpensive, useful and charming gift to give, especially at the winter holiday time.

Single cards are $1/each and can be purchased in any mix and match of cards with a minimum purchase of $20. Cards come with envelopes but are not packaged for presentation or as a gift. This option is great for cards you want to send yourself.

Payment - You can make a payment by cash or check, sent to the address below, or by PayPal (paid to newburn.jessie@gmail.com).

Shipping & Handling - To save you money and keep the total price of our product as reasonable as possible, we ship your order through the US Postal Service and charge the cost of the postage plus the shipping supplies (envelopes and protective wrapping if needed). Putting our trust in the USPS, we do not send packages with special USPS options such as insurance or package delivery receipts. We really don't like exorbitant S&H costs, and we assume you probably don't either.
