OSU Coach Beyond & GAMPI
The Granville Athletics Mental Performance Initiative (GAMPI) kicked off in October for our student-athletes and coaches. The GAMPIons student-athlete leadership group participated in their first HeadspACE session where they played the Game of TRI-ing to learn how to foster a positive team environment, and GHS coaches participated in the Coach Beyond Supporting Student-Athlete Mental Health training. Finally, the first Huddles session is October 24 where student-athletes learn about building confidence. All student-athletes are welcome to attend monthly Huddle sessions in the GHS weight room during ACE period. Programming will continue throughout the school year with HeadspACE and Huddles sessions for student-athletes, sessions for parents, and coach training. Please encourage your student-athletes to participate in these trainings. Student-athletes should listen to the announcements and check SportsYou for information about future Huddle sessions.
