Mac's Notes

Dear Scottie Families,
With great joy and pride, I am happy to share Artsonia portfolios with you. Ms. Nicole and her students have created images of beauty to behold!
On this coming Friday, January 7th, we will join together to honor and celebrate the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Students have been studying the Civil Rights Movement and the work to eliminate prejudice and injustice led by Dr. King. They are creating posters to carry on our annual march from McDonald through Tangletown beginning at 8:15 am. The MAP is attached and you are welcome to join us!
Let's make it a great week!
Sincerely,
Zoe Facilla, she/her

Calling all girls and non-binary 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders interested in playing Ultimate Frisbee!
A collective of Seattle Elementary School coaches (including McDonald Coaches!) are having a free 2 hour Elementary School girls and non-binary (Gx) player clinic on Sat, Feb 1st. No experience necessary. This would be a great opportunity to meet other players and coaches in the community and learn the game, or polish one's skills before the Spring season starts.
If you have a Gx player who might be interested, please fill out this form. You'll get an email with more details before the clinic. Please share the form with other families who have a potentially interested Gx player.
