A Message from Ms. Peterson
Hello MCP3 Families!
Shout out to families for attending our Quarter 1 Awards Ceremony last week. Overall, MCP awarded 108 awards for high attendance, 100% attendance, and for class commitment awards! Check out the names listed below for our Q1 awards recipients. We appreciate your hard work and dedication to getting your scholar to school each day and on time and for reinforcing our class safety commitments with your child at home!
Last week we had a great Friendship Week and focusing on "Being Nice" for our Dojo Challenge. Scholars and staff also enjoyed Odd Sock Day, writing notes to a special person, and having a special guest reader~ Pete The Cat! Shout out to Ms. Mitchell, Ms. Alston, and the Bulldogs for being the class with the most points for "Being Nice"! They earned a total of 296 Being Nice points! WOW! The Gators enjoyed their Special Prizes from the prize box. See below for this week's Dojo Focus Skill!
As the weather continues to change and it feels more and more like winter, please be sure to follow our uniform policy and send scholars dressed for the weather. Here are some reminders:
- Scholars may NOT wear boots during the day (please send shoes to change into)
- Send scholars with hats, gloves, and scarfs (we go outside unless the temperature with the windchill is below 19 degrees, or if it is too wet/rainy/snowy)
- Scholars may wear a solid (red, white, blue, black, gray) long sleeved shirt under their uniform t-shirt, a navy blue cardigan, or an MCP Fleece/crewneck sweatshirt if cold
Here are a few important reminders and updates for the next couple of weeks:
T/EA (Teacher & EA) Turkey Challenge
This Thursday and Friday, be sure to stop by the main office to cast your votes for your favorite TURKEY! Our teaching teams have been challenged to create their very own unique turkey and our families will be the ones to decide the winners!
Dojo Challenge!!!
Classrooms are challenged to see who can get the most dojo points for PARTICIPATING this week. The class with the most points for participating will get to have a special lunch with Ms. Perine and I in the party room! Encourage your scholar to participate this week by raising hands to answer questions, joining in on songs and wiggle breaks, and actively completing tasks with teachers. Let's earn those points!!
No School Next Week 11/25-11/29
Enjoy your Thanksgiving Break! Please be safe and take the time to reflect and share what you are thankful for.
Please reach out to our Office Manager Ms. Perine by emailing cassandra.perine@mkeprep.com or calling our office 414-264-6007 with any questions or concerns related to your payment or enrollment.
With Love and Respect,
Ms. Peterson

Theme #4: Safe and Healthy Me
Week 1- Safe Me
Three-year-olds are all about wanting to do things on their own. Although they still need adults to support their efforts, they are ready to accept a bigger role in their own care. As we teach rules that support their health and safety, we can expect children to be eager to apply this new knowledge. This week children will explore safety rules.
