Herd Happenings

When-We will leave Bradley around 8:45 on Monday morning & the program will begin at 9:30

Where-We will walk from Bradley to the Track a & Field Complex behind the board office on Biddle.

Parents are invited to walk with students (alongside their class) from the school to the field.

We prefer students walk with their classroom teachers, however, if a parent wishes to have their family walk together, they must sign students out in the front office (as if they were leaving for an appointment), before students begin lining up at 8:30 outside. Students signed out will also need to be escorted back to school by parents and signed back in after the event.

Due to the number of students with contact allergies we ask families to please not bring food to the event.

Fifth grade will line up first outside on the sidewalk at 8:30. Fifth grade will lead us followed by 4th, 3rd, 2nd, 1st, and Kindergarten will walk in the front with 5th grade. Morning Preschool students will ride the bus to the field and back. Afternoon preschoolers are invited to attend the event with their families, but bus transportation is limited to the am preschoolers.

Each student and teacher will receive a water bottle after the ceremony. Family members please bring water we will only have enough for students and staff.

Hopefully the weather will be perfect for a breezy morning walk! In the event of inclement weather, Dr. Mispagel will make the call bye 9am. If the program is cancelled we will have a virtual ceremony in the afternoon.

Bradley will host a school wide picnic after the freedom walk. If you are joining your students for lunch please come to the lobby at your Childs assigned lunch time. Classes will go to lunch at their regularly scheduled times.

Parents and siblings are invited to join us for lunch. Guest meals are 2.00 each. Your lunch will be charged to your students account. No Cash will be accepted. If you plan to join the picnic and have not already RSVP'd please do using the link below by end of day 9/6/2024.
