We just wanted to send a reminder that the application deadline is Friday, February 21st! Please be sure to double check your application and ensure that all components are included!

We do have our last RISING 5th grade placement test opportunity, which is being rescheduled. The new test date will be Saturday, March 1st at 9am (doors open at 8:30). Please note that this placement test is a requirement to a completed application. We sincerely hope that your application process has been a pleasant one. Parents and guardians will be able to remain in the gymnasium until the placement test concludes. We anticipate students finishing around the 2 hour mark.

• Band auditions have passed at this time. They were held virtually on Thursday, February 20th.
  

• Dance auditions are taking place as scheduled Friday, February 21st from 11am-2pm at CSAS MS.

• Visual Arts auditions will take place Thursday, 2/27. Current 5th grade students would take place during TB4. Students new to Classen and any students attempting to change their major will take place after school @ 4:30pm.

• Vocal Music is wrapping up their last day of auditions Friday, February 21st.

• Audition instructions are below.

• In the case of inclement weather on Thursday, Strings (Orchestra) Major Auditions will occur on Tuesday, February 25th at Classen SAS MS. Auditioning students will have the same audition time slot they received for Thursday.

• If Piano auditions are impacted by inclement weather, then the audition date for each respective student is moved back by one week. For Tuesday, 2/18, families have been notified that the new date is February 25th with the same scheduled audition times.

• If Thursday becomes a distance learning day, then students will have their audition moved out by one week as well.
