Information from the Lacey Township Board of Education with regard to the
Bond Referendum Community Vote on March 11, 2025
Our school buildings are well maintained, but many systems and structures have reached the end of their useful life. The need for updates can’t be ignored. Some of the older equipment requires costly repairs, and those costs directly impact our budget, and ultimately, our students.
To align our facilities with the quality education that students deserve, the Board of Education is moving forward with a bond referendum to generate upfront funding to make long-lasting facilities improvements. This vote will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, and would give the community a voice in the future of the district. Detailed information can be found on our school website: (https://sites.google.com/laceyschools.org/lacey-twp-referendum-2024)
As we enter the heart of the academic school year here at the Forked River School this is the time of the year where we often see tremendous academic growth. We would like to thank our parents and guardians for all of their help with reinforcing your child(ren)’s learning at home with homework and project assignments. In addition, the more students are read to and have the opportunity to read quality children's literature and informational articles at their independent reading level, the more academically accomplished they will become. In the area of mathematics the more our students can practice their grade level math facts the more confident they will be in mastering their number sense and overall understanding of mathematics concepts. It truly takes a village to raise a child. Thank you for all of your support.
