In this 5 day class you will learn botanical printing advanced techniques in combination of different natural dyes.

focus on design

You are going to develop your design by working on samples, analyse the results and identify the potentials. Than you will take it to an higher level focusing on a particular result. Special attention will be on design - composition on the fabrics and combining different leaves together for a 3D look. At the last two days you will create 1-2 big pieces of fabrics well designed and planned or you can work further on smaller pieces like scarfs. In this class you will be working on cellulose fabrics and silks.

About Irit Dulman

Irit Dulman works in her studio in Givatayim, just outside TLV, but her inspiration seems to lack borders of time and place. Her colours, textures and designs are sensually bold, seductive, introvert as well as daring. There is nothing obvious in her work, for it has it’s own reason and feminine insight

All workshops are being taught in Dutch and/or English. We will serve fresh coffee and homemade lunches, with healthy salades, farmers bread and several Dutch cheeses.
