PTA Happenings! Stay In The Know!
Please ensure that your child wears tennis shoes on any day that they have PE. Students must have them to participate in PE.
DISMISSAL
If you are needing to make a dismissal change, please communicate that with your child's teacher by 2pm. If you do not get a response from us, call our school office to make sure we received your message.
Please be sure to bring your car tag for both parent walk up at the end of the day and for car rider pick ups. If your student is a parent walk up at dismissal and no car tag is present, you will then need to check your child out from the front office.
Don't Forget!
Appropriate snacks include goldfish, animal crackers, pretzels etc. Please do not send a snack that contains juice like a fruit cup, hot Cheetos nor one that will need utensils. Thank you.
Headphones Required
Our first graders have iPads that will stay on campus but used for instructional purposes. Please purchase your student a pair of headphones to keep at school if you have not already. Due to the classroom environment, if your child does not have headphones they may miss out on instructional activities on their device.
Please check in with your student often to make sure they have a working pair of headphones.

Click the Class Link icon above to access your student's Class Link from home.

If your student's QR code will not scan below is how you may manually type in their log in:
Username- first initial+ last initial+ ID number
Password- first three letters of your child's birth month with the first letter capitalized + two digit date + four digit year
EXAMPLE:
kc123456
Nov152015
Please do not attempt to reset your child's password.
Amplify
Did you know that the Amplify Reading tool helps boost critical reading skills that student's may have? Or that it ties into skills and strategies that are tested within mClass?
Our campus has identified needs of students individually and collectively. There are many gaps that students have that we could use your help in closing so that they are more successful readers. It is imperative that the additional practice occurs also outside of the classroom, at home. Please use Amplify Reading as you find time fit throughout the week with your child.
When accessing Amplify from Classlink, your student will click on the Amplify icon from Classlink and then select the icon with the forest animals.
Colors For Caring
No one should fight cancer alone. That’s why the first Monday of each month that students are in school, Mansfield ISD encourages the community to wear a color that represents a cancer that has affected the life of a loved one. (View a cancer color chart here.)
This year’s remaining Colors for Caring days are:
- May 5
Share your Colors for Caring pictures with us by emailing them to info@misdmail.org or use the hashtag #ColorsforCaring on social media. We’ll add your photos to the district’s photo gallery.
We look forward to everyone’s participation!
