• School Closed Friday, November 1st - Diwali
• 12:00pm Dismissal November 4th, 5th and 6th - Parent Teacher Conferences

Please note that the street areas near the circle on Arlington and Martin are designated for pick-up only. Parents should remain in their cars, and students should walk to the car. Cars should not be left unattended. If you need to pick up your child from the blacktop, please find a parking space elsewhere. Moving forward, staff will be present to help enforce these guidelines and keep traffic flowing smoothly. Thank you for your cooperation!

Log onto your Genesis Parent Portal.

• Be sure you are viewing the correct child. The “SELECT STUDENT” dropdown controls which

child you are viewing.

• Click on the “Conferences” tab.

• Click on the Fall or Teacher Conference link.

• A list of open conferences will be displayed in green with Start and End times. In most cases

just the homeroom teacher will display. If more than one teacher displays please make sure you are only choosing the homeroom teacher with general education. Only one conference per teacher can be scheduled per household. Conferences in red are already reserved by someone else.

• Click on “Reserve” for the time you wish to choose.

• The time you choose will now say Scheduled.

• If you wish to change your time, you should click on Cancel, and then choose another

appointment.

• Click back on the Conferences Tab to see a summary of your conferences.

• If you click on Update, you will be taken back to the scheduling screen

• Serves as an exceptionally skilled and dedicated educator in a public school
• Inspires students of all backgrounds and abilities to learn
• Demonstrates leadership and innovation in and outside the classroom
• Has the respect and admiration of students, parents, administrators and colleagues
• Plays an active role in the community as well as the school

Teacher Lounge Donations

The Collins PTO provides a variety of snacks and beverages for the teachers and staff at Collins every month. We would love for the Collins community to join us in our endeavor of supplying endless snacks and beverages throughout the entire school year. To donate items, please sign up via the signup genius. Items can be dropped off directly with the main office, please ring the bell and let them know that you are dropping off items for the teacher's lounge. For monetary donations, please donate directly through the PTO website.
