NEW English Learner Program Evaluation Team Training
This training is designed for district teams that must include the main MICIP user and the EL Coordinator or Director. Other suggested key staff include: registrar or enrollment staff, pupil accountant, administrator, EL teacher.

NEW PD Series for the Spring
"Equity Essentials: Navigating Student Needs Beyond the Classroom", a transformative professional development series designed to empower educators with the knowledge and skills necessary to address the diverse needs of their students outside of traditional academic settings. In this dynamic program, teachers will explore the complexities of poverty, food justice, healthcare, and housing stability, gaining a deep understanding of how these factors impact student learning and well-being. - NEW College Board Student Data Opt Out forms in Arabic and Spanish
- LEAs in MI will begin collecting data on student and staff affiliation with the 12 federally recognized tribes in our state - this will start next year with those who participate in Title VI or Johnson-O'Malley, the second year will focus on student demographics, and the third year will include staff demographics

- Screening newly enrolled potential ELs during the Access window - yes, these students need to first be screened and then take WIDA Access if they qualify as EL
