Janesville School Wishes You a Joyous Holiday Season
From The Principal's Desk
The end of the year is quicky approaching and the buzz of the Holiday Season is around on the Wildcat Campus. We hope you were able to enjoy the Thanksgiving Break with your family and friends.
As we move into December we look forward to some wonderful events. There are two ELOP days planned for the first two Saturdays in December. The sign up date for the second one closes on Dec. 3rd so be sure to stop by the school office to get your students signed up. Both days are full of Winter and Christmas themed activities for the students.
We start the month off strong with our annual Girls Basketball Tournament Dec. 5th-7th, be sure to stop by and cheer them on and support the 8th grade class at the concession stand. Boys Basketball gets underway with tryouts on Tuesday Dec. 10th. The Holiday Shop will be coming to campus again and students will be able to do some low cost shopping for their family and friends, more information to come soon.
We'll end the month with our annual Christmas Program on Friday Dec. 20th at 9a.m. in the Janesville Gymnasium. Please be sure to join us as this is always a magical morning.
Our students have started the Wildcat Reading Challenge off strong! The first month's class winners will be announced the Monday we return from break but as of the date this was published students have read 23 million words since the start of school! They are well on their way to reading 90 million words! Great job Wildcats- keep up the great work.

Holiday Shop Is Back!
The holidays are coming, and we want to help make this season even more special. Students can shop for moms, dads, grandparents, siblings, classmates, or other special people. Students will shop with their class at assigned times during school hours. Gifts range from $.50 - $5. Students may only purchase 6 gifts or less.
