Biglerville High School and the Upper Adams Middle School Music Department is proud to present its annual Winter Concert on Thursday evening January 16, 2025 in the BHS auditorium at 7 PM. Admission is free.

The Biglerville High School Select Chorus was chosen to sing the National Anthem on Tuesday January 7th to open the Farm Show. Despite having off school, family members were able to take the group there in the morning to perform and then spend the day enjoying the festivities and food. We had 4 students and their families brave the weather to travel up to the Farm Show building to receive their awards in person.

Being among the top 10% in the state, Caden Kessel and Jack Shannon traveled up to receive their PA FFA Keystone Degree. This involves keeping records over their entire high school agriculture career, investing at least 600 hours in a Supervised Agriculture Experience project, completing at least 50 hours of community service hours, competing in over 20 FFA activities and contests from chapter to national level and showing proficiency in public speaking and parliamentary procedure.

Over 1000 FFA jackets were awarded to beginning and active FFA members totally sponsored by businesses and individuals from across the state of PA. Mason Mentzer and Elyse Meade were 2 of our 14 winners that were able to attend in person.

The schedule for the indoor drumline and indoor color guard is posted. They have the first competition coming up on 1/18 at Central Dauphin High School. Thank you for your support.

For anyone interested in Engineering, HACC will be hosting 2 Engineering Career Day's. While you are here, you will be learning from industry leaders, participating in hands-on activities, and exploring different engineering careers. The first day will be located at HACC's Harrisburg Campus on February 21, 2025 and the deadline to register is February 7, 2025. The next one will be located at HACC's Lancaster Campus on March 7, 2025 and the deadline to register is February 21, 2025. Both of these days will run from 8:30am to 12:30pm and lunch will be provided!
