Miss Jeanne
On Tuesday, Miss Jeanne from the Berne Public Library visited us. She shared LOTS of Christmas books, sang songs with us and even brought bells for us to play. We had LOTS of fun with Miss Jeanne.
Feeling Cub Visits Us
Each month Feeling Cub visits us and talks to us about our emotions. This month he talked about becoming angry and how to handle that emotion. Miss Lori read a book and everyone practiced making their mad face.
Days of the Week
Since we are only in preschool two days a week, days of the week are really tricky to learn.
Here at preschool, we have color coated our calendar to visually help the children see which days we come to school. Maybe you will want to mark your calendar at home in special way so your child can see the days they come to preschool. It's one way to help your child begin to learn the days of the week.
Coats, Hats, Gloves, and Mittens...
With the cold weather, comes heavy coats, gloves, hats, mittens, etc. It is easy for the smaller items to drop on the floor or get mixed up with someone else's. If you can label them with your child's name, please do so. For some unknown reason, no one can identify their items when a teacher holds them up in front of the group. 🤷♀️
Thank you!!!
P>S. Keep helping your child to become independent when putting on the coat and winter gear. The more independent the children are, the sooner we will be able to put them into your car at dismissal.

We DO NOT have a Christmas program in preschool. This is a very busy season. Many families find themselves attending LOTS of Christmas programs and often having to choose because they have several programs on the same night. We will have a spring program when life has slowed down and you won't feel as stressed. So.... Mark your calendars for Thursday evening March 13th. More information will be coming.
One last thing before you go...
Some parents have wondered if we have a Christmas party like the older siblings do at school. We do not. On Thursday, December 19th we will have a birthday party for Jesus. Our celebration will be with the Bears Class. We have a couple of other activities planned for your child.
We would like to thank all the parents who are volunteering and helping in the classroom. You make it possible for us to do many activities with your children.
Remember, if you have a question, please do not hesitate to ask.
Thank you!
