It is with excitement and gratitude that I introduce myself to the Lenski community as their school counselor for the remainder of this school year! My name is Jenny Beck, and after a sabbatical at home, caring for my son and daughter, I have returned to my calling and passion--working as a school counselor.
This week, I have spent time in classrooms building rapport and making myself known as a resource to our students and staff. My goal is to assist in the development of academic achievement and social-emotional development. I will deliver classroom lessons, conduct small groups, and hold individual sessions with students. My goal is to help students apply academic achievement strategies, manage emotions, and apply coping and interpersonal skills to their everyday lives.
