Do I need to register for the fair?
For 4-H'ers, county fairs are not just fun annual events. To make those experiences successful for 4-H members and their families, the answer is yes, you need to register for fair. There are a few steps prior to registering for fair.
1. Determine what interest areas you want to explore and learn about. This project area exploration will help you determine what you create as an exhibit to showcase at the fair.
2. Is your project area exhibit an animal? If yes, then you will most likely need to identify the animal(s) by May 15. 4-H families that have enrolled in animal/livestock project areas will receive further information about the animal ID process or you can find info online.
3. Look through the premium book and determine exactly what and how you will register the exhibit for county fair. As well as learn a little bit more about the Pipestone County Fair.
