Scientific Revolution
April B. 3rd pd
What was the change?
The scientific revolution changed the way that people thought about science instead of listening to the church. During this period many inventions were made to observe and study the universe. (Such as the telescope). Scientist started to find out new theories about the natural world even exposing new ideas that went against the church. Now, the people that who use to rely and praise the church are questioning everything the church does.
Who were the people Associated with the change?
Galileo
Galileo was born February 15, 1564 in Pisa Italy, he died January 8th 1642 in Acretri Florence . He was one of the greatest scientist of all time.
Isaac Newton
Relations the forces between acting on the body and the motion of the body, this formula was created by Newton. Isaac was physicist and mathematician. who was the culminating figure of the scientific revolution of the 17th century.
Nicolaus Copernicus
Copernicus was born February 19, 1473 and died May 24, 1543. Nicolaus was a polish astronomer who proposed that the planets have the sun as the fix points to which there motions are to be referred.
How did the change impact on society?
People started breaking away from the church and caring about learning about the outside world. Before the scientific revolution started the people were manipulated to believing that every revolved around the church and that the church knows best. People became more secular and believed in humanism.
How Is That Change Evidenced In Today's Modern Society
There's technology, telescopes

"~world they new ~
our teacher said to us yesterday
learn about the Renaissance
now we gonna teach all you about
scientific revolution
Galileo challenged Aristotle
he said, objects fall at the same speed
don’t be afraid to think, outside the box
even if the church does not agree
chorus)
back then was shaping today
keep geocentric at bay
with newtons three laws, helpin’
change the world they knew
they faced the churches wrath
theorized gravity
with newtons three laws, helpin’
change the world they knew
scientists of yesterday, shaping the world of today
changing citizen views
scientists of yesterday, shaping the world of today
the revolution changed the world they knew
Copernicus and Kepler, too
heliocentric was their view
planets Venus, Mars, and Jupiter
their orbits are elliptical
Thermometer improved by Fahrenheit
Torrecelli and his barometer
those inventions were important
wow they were smart, don't you concur?
Microscope was made then
by Antonie the Dutchman
he found bacteria, tiny
in the revolution
just state a question or problem
form a hypothesis
to collect data from testin’
the worlds made to seek truth
back then was shaping today
keep geocentric at bay
newton’s three laws, helpin’
changed the world that they new"
