Great Celebrations happening on our Campus and in our Programs.


“New” Valley Building

Did you know that the “New” Valley School is open for business and we are LOVING it. Our new building has all the “bells and whistles”. It is spacious and well designed-allowing our kids to feel comfortable in a positive learning environment. It has been a long time coming. We will be hosting a virtual “Open House” in the coming weeks.

Work Hard...Play Hard!

Everyone knows the Career Center campus is the Home of D51 Rockstars. Did you know that every CC campus kid-o has the opportunity to earn a weekly paycheck? Yep, TRUE- a paycheck based on the 4Ps…Prepared-Polite-Productive-Professional. It is important to master the 4Ps as it is the key to good grades and successful employment. Every other week the student store is open for those who wish to spend their paycheck… others choose to save it for a “rainy day”... either way a great way to model real world expectations.

SWAP Youth Job Fair on April 8, 2021 from 9:00am to 2:30pm


This Youth Job Fair event will be held here at Career Center in the north parking lot and is for High School aged students 9th - 12th grade as well as young adults up to 21 years old. Bring your resume, dress for success, smile and be ready to meet employers.

Fresh Side Cafe' Open for curbside pickup!

Lexi, a Culinary Arts student, is here to tell you we are open for curbside orders. Please call 970-254-6056 to place your order. We'll take order up until 12:30, Tues-Fri. Pick up at Career Center 2935 North Ave. in front of Fresh Side Cafe'.

Focus Floral and Gifts Open to CC Staff and Students.

The Focus Floral Gift shop at CC is currently open to staff and students, Tuesday -Friday from 8:30 Am-2:30 Pm. There are quite a variety of items to choose from; including chips, snack cakes, bagels w/cream cheese, soft drinks, greeting cards, vases, candy and stuffed animals. Stop in and take a look! Due to COVID protocol, they are limiting the number of customers in the shop at one time to five. If you would like to visit during class time and you have your teachers permission, please make sure to bring a note or hall pass with you.
