December 2024/January 2025
As winter break approaches, we encourage our students to take this opportunity to rest, recharge, and enjoy time with family and friends. Breaks like these are essential for their well-being and help them return to school refreshed and ready to learn.
That said, it’s important to keep in mind that when we return in January, midterms will be just around the corner. With only a few weeks of classes before exams, we’ll be diving straight into review and preparation. To help your child stay on track, here are some tips to consider:
- Balance Rest and Readiness: Encourage your child to enjoy the break but also set aside some time to organize their notes, catch up on any outstanding work, and review key concepts. A little preparation now can ease the transition back.
- Set Goals for the New Year: As 10th graders, students are building skills for future success. Winter break is a great time for them to reflect on their goals for the second quarter as they prepare for midterms and get ready to FINISH STRONG.
- Prepare for a Focused Start: Returning to school with materials ready and a plan for success can make a big difference.
Thank you for your continued support. Wishing you and your family a peaceful and joyful holiday season. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in January, ready to make the most of the time before midterms!
