RAM BULLETIN

Welcome to September. Our behavior focus for this month is safety. We are working with our students on ways we can be safe around campus. Students can be safe by making sure they follow all school rules. We are working on conflict resolution and self-advocacy. Students who are able to vocalize their needs and resolve conflicts effectively are more likely to feel safe at school. Our academic focus for this month is effort. As students learn new concepts, school can become challenging. Working hard, asking questions, and preserving on challenging tasks leads to better academic results. We will be looking for students displaying academic effort. Each month we reward students who demonstrate effort in academics, an excellent attitude, and terrific attendance. We call this the AAA award. Please work with your child to earn the September AAA award. We will be celebrating our August winners on 9/9.

We are excited to announce that this year, families will be able to verify their child's elementary school teacher and secondary school class schedule through our online data confirmation process. Starting on July 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM, parents who have completed the online data confirmation will be able to access this information. We encourage all parents to complete the online data confirmation process by following the instructions in the flyer below.

Drop off begins at 7:55. Please do not drop your children off at school prior to 7:55 because there is not student supervision. If your child walks to school, please remind them to wait until 7:55 to arrive.

• No School Monday, September 2 in honor of Labor Day
• School starts at 8:25
• Students are invited to arrive for breakfast at 7:55

• Morning Kindergarten starts at 8:25 and dismisses at 12:00
• Afternoon Kindergarten starts at 10:10 and dismisses at 1:45
• Grades 1-3 dismiss at 2:20
• Grades 4-6 dismiss at 2:26
• Breakfast and lunch are provided to all students free of charge
• Students must wear closed toe athletic shoes to school everyday
• Make sure you confirm your data online to obtain your teacher's name and complete the first day packet.
• Bring your charged Chromebook
