Girls’ basketball started their season off strong on Wednesday in their scrimmage against FT. 7th grade put on a dominating performance in both games. Devynn Holmes had a buzzer beater 3 pointer to end the first half. Anna Boschert led the way on defense and had some key drives. Erin Galvin led the way in the B game with strong defense and several fast break lay ups. In the 8th grade game, it came down to the wire. With the score 31 to 32 and down by one Brooke Robbins stole the ball and went the distance of the court to score the game winning layup. Claire Trecek led all scorers with 14 points. The B game went into overtime where PRT came up just short. Dylan Tucker led all scorers with 6 points.
