Fun During Cross-Curricular Day!
During Cross-Curricular Day, all students at CES are broken up into groups of students from every grade.
They then go into different rooms to complete projects about a variety of subjects.
This round the students made large snowflakes, winter bird feeders out of Cheerios and bagels, and they then participated in a STEM marble run activity.
Around the School...
Farm-to-School Project-Based Learning continues in Grade 2. Kate Kane's class used beet paint to paint paper beets recently.
Laura Rounds had a captive audience as she read about Snow, and while it didn't snow...
the students made their own snow during the day! The snowflakes look beautiful!
After drafting their written responses regarding their favorite Helen Lester book, 2nd graders then typed their work. It is on display in the hallway.
