LV Primary Parent News
December 18, 2024
Dear Primary Parents,
If you participated in Pottery Night, the items were delivered to your child this morning! Please check their backpacks.
Tomorrow, we will have foot traffic enter the building through the main entrance of the school. Once you have signed your child out with your child's teacher, we will ask that you exit by the gym/cafeteria exit to help with the flow of foot traffic.
Tomorrow's schedule:
9:15 2nd grade Mason, Lange, Skloss, Koepp, Burlingame in the cafeteria
9:45- PREK/KInder in the classrooms
10:15 2nd grade Schmidt, Fiala, Petersen, Mondin, Wildenstein, Meekins in the cafeteria
10:45- 1st grade in the classrooms
**The teachers have asked that you don't arrive too early as they won't be ready for you!
Please check the lost and found in the main hallway if your child is missing anything when you are on campus tomorrow!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from LV Primary!
Thank you,

Parenting Behavior Tip of the Week
Create Meaningful Experiences
The Christmas holiday is a wonderful time to focus on creating meaningful experiences instead of just giving material gifts. Start by creating family traditions, like baking cookies or watching holiday movies, which help children connect to the season in a deeper way. Encourage gratitude by discussing what everyone is thankful for and even creating a gratitude jar. Teach the spirit of kindness and giving by donating, volunteering, or performing acts of kindness together. Finally, manage expectations around gifts, emphasizing the importance of love, family, and experiences over material things, and reminding kids that the value of a gift isn’t in its size or cost.
