Curriculum & Instruction
- Weekly, 30 minute classes in the LTC with Mrs. D'Elia, Mr. Callahan, or both!
- Curricular focus areas include Digital Citizenship, Technology, Information Literacy, and Love of Reading
- Collaborative research projects to integrate information and digital literacy standards with Common Core and content area standards
- 1:1 Pilot Program with iPads in grades four and five
LTC Policies
- Students may borrow items for two weeks.
- There is no limit to how many items students in grades one through five may borrow. Kindergarteners borrow one at a time for the first part of the year.
- Students may borrow items from any part of the collection regardless of age.
- If an item is lost, it can be replaced by purchasing a copy or sending a check.
- Students in grades three through five will have logins to the catalog so they may manage their own accounts.

Online collection of digital picture books available at school and at home
Online encyclopedia for elementary aged students available at school and at home
Searchable database of kid-friendly encyclopedia, magazine, and newspaper articles available at school and at home
Hundreds of short, animated videos on all kinds of classroom topics available at school only
Students now have their own Google Drive, Gmail, and Blogger accounts for digital portfolios available at school and at home
The library's catalog system where students can search for items and manage their library accounts available at school and at home
