The 2024-2025 School Year is Here
Dear McMinnville Families,
As we begin another exciting school year, we are eager to see our students return and be ready to learn and grow in a supportive and engaging environment.
Registering for the School Year
Please be sure you have completed the registration process for the new school year. This ensures that we have accurate and up-to-date information.
Understanding the Handbook
I urge all families to take the time to read and understand the district student handbook. It contains important information about school practices, procedures and expectations. Familiarity with these guidelines ensures that we all work together to create a safe and productive environment for our students.(Note: your school has a family handbook as well.)
Attendance
We are continuing our focus on attendance, which is crucial for both the academic success and social wellness of students. Regular attendance helps students build routines, fosters their sense of belonging, and enhances their learning experiences. We encourage you to support your children in attending school consistently.
No Cell Phones in Classrooms
We are implementing a district-wide practice of no cell phones in classrooms to minimize distractions and maximize learning opportunities. We appreciate your cooperation and support in reinforcing this policy with your children, as it will help create an environment more conducive to learning.
Busing
The bus routes are now posted on the district website on the Transportation page. Please allow some flexibility in the first couple of weeks as schedules may shift.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. Together we can ensure a successful and rewarding school year for all our students. I look forward to seeing you all soon and wish you a fantastic start to the new school year!
With you every step of the way,
Superintendent Brockett
