The Fowler Weekly
December 9-13, 2024
MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Good Day All,
I was at an educational law conference this past week from Wednesday through Friday. Being out of the building for multiple days is so strange! I miss the hustle and bustle, the students, the challenges and as someone who is so dedicated and loyal, I always feel the pull to remain on sight. I’ve learned a lot at the conference and I feel so appreciative having such a strong team around me that allows me the flexibility, and ease of mind, to be absent from the building.
We have a fun, celebratory assembly at the end of the school day on Friday, 12/13! Our leadership students have been working hard to put together a fun program for our entire school. As the MC of the event, I’ve been told there may be a costume I’ll be wearing. I’m both excited and terrified. We’ll post some pictures of the event.
It’s hard to believe that 2024 is almost over and as we come into the final weeks of school before an extended, two week winter break I just want to thank you all for the continued support for our electronics policy, focus on academic improvement and continuing to be Fowler Falcons biggest fans! I am so lucky to work in a community and school that is strong and supportive.

COMMUNICATION
Please take a minute to read this: this is our next to last communication that will come as “The Fowler Weekly” in your email.
and will be titled something like “1 new message form Fowler Middle School today”. We want to be sure you continue to know how to locate our communication with you. There are several reasons why TTSD is converting to this form of communicating:
ParentSquare has the ability to translate our communication into over 100 languages. It will automatically send the communication in the language that you have registered with us as the language you prefer for communication.
ParentSquare lets YOU can determine when you would like to receive communication; at the time we send it, or in a “digest” at a specified time each day.
As a district and as a school, we will be using Parent Square exclusively in order to relieve the constant inundation in your email accounts.
This is all so much easier if you have the ParentSquare App. Get started here. Here are Step by Step Instructions for setting up your account. (There are QR codes on these instructions that can be used to access the app) Here is a Link to District website page with more information.
HAPPENINGS
Are you ready for the book fair!?! Have you completed your e-wallet? It’s this week!
There’s more info on our school’s Book Fair homepage:
https://www.scholastic.com/bf/fowlermiddleschool5
While you’re there, set up a Book Fair eWallet - the digital payment account that allows your child to shop for books at the Fair without cash. Then share your eWallet link so friends and extended family can add funds. The eWallet is refillable, but any amount leftover can be used on Scholastic’s website. Otherwise, cash, card, and apple pay are accepted at the registers. Every purchase benefits our school!
All Students had a chance to sign up to participate in our 1st Community Day of the 2024-2025 school year this Friday during the afternoon assembly. A huge shout out and thank you to the Student Leadership Team, and their teacher Amy Grube, for all of the hard work that has gone into this event.
