Office Hours
Front Office Hours are 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Gates open for students at 8:45 am. Students arriving on campus before 8:45 am for a club meeting or working with a teacher must meet the club sponsor/teacher at the gate and time designated by the teacher.
Early Dismissals
If your student needs to leave early, please complete the online Early Dismissal Form before 10:00 a.m. We will contact a parent/guardian before a student is allowed to drive off campus. Please be available at the number you provided. All early dismissals must sign out at the front office before leaving campus.
Absences
If your student was absent for any reason you must submit an absence note within 48 hours of returning to school. You can send in a note to turn into the attendance office or you can complete the 2024-2025 BHS Absentee Form online.
HAC/Schoology & Clever
All students should now have their login information for HAC/Schoology/Clever etc. If they do not please have them stop by the front office to see Ms. Lechtrecker or Ms. Houser for assistance.

Private VPN's are prohibited and will block students from accessing school resources. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) and Internet Safety Policy Guidelines for Students and Visitors.
Digital ID's
Beachside High School uses digital IDs for identification. IDs are required to purchase breakfast and/or lunch, check out books from the media center, entry into events etc. Scan the QR code and follow the directions to set up your digital ID. If you do not have a phone and need a physical ID or you are having trouble getting your digital ID please visit the media center for assistance. new.leonards.com
Cafeteria
Check out the cafeteria page on our website to see the menu as well as links to create online payments through PayPams or apply for Free and Reduced Lunches.

Please note students that have a negative balance in their lunch account are only able to get the school breakfast or lunch until their account has been replenished. PayPams payments can take up to 3 days show up your student's account. If you make a payment, please take a screen shot of the receipt for your student to show the cafeteria.

If you want to go into a NEW academy or AICE program next year, you should follow the timeline below:
December 11: High School Showcase (for current 8th and 9th graders only)
January 6: Academy and AICE Application Opens (for current 8th and 9th graders only). Click link HERE for SJCSD program of choice policies and procedures. Click HERE for AICE website (includes directions on how to apply to AICE program of choice)
January 21: BHS Academy and AICE Student & Parent Night (for current 8th and 9th graders only)
January 24: Academy and AICE application deadline (for current 8th and 9th graders only), 5 pm
Attention students in an academy ...

If you want to continue in the academy program, there is nothing additional that you need to complete, the next course will automatically be added to your schedule next year.
Testing
The ACT will be offered at Beachside on Tuesday, February 25th.
More information will be coming in February.
