Camp Casey Recap
Our sixth-grade class has returned from an unforgettable four days at Camp Casey on Whidbey Island! Students and chaperones had an amazing time exploring the island, learning about marine life, and discovering the history of Fort Casey. Highlights included hearing stories from a Native American storyteller and competing in a fort-building contest. Along the way, we received many compliments on how well-behaved our students are—what a wonderful reflection of their character!
Reminder: School-Appropriate Language
Recently, we have noticed an increase in the use of foul and derogatory language among elementary students. Please remind your child to use respectful and appropriate words at school. If a student is caught using inappropriate language, they will receive a lunch detention and be required to call home to explain the words they used. Thank you for your support in fostering a positive learning environment!
