News From the Ranch

October was filled with unforgettable moments, and we’re ready to create even more this month! As we head into our fourth month at the Ranch, our Wranglers continue to grow and thrive. The year started with incredible energy, and the excitement keeps building. We’ve already celebrated some fantastic events, with plenty more to come. Thank you all for your unwavering support and teamwork in setting a strong tone for the year. Let’s keep up the momentum and make this year one to remember!

Valley Ranch Elementary just joined an elite group—now one of only 14 NCISD campuses to earn the prestigious Purple Star Designation!

This special recognition, created by the Texas Legislature, celebrates schools that go above and beyond to support military-connected students and their families. It’s all about honoring and meeting the unique needs of those who serve our country.

Remember to cast your vote! The VRE gym will be open as a local polling station to help everyone get their voice heard. 🗳️

Bring the family out for fresh finds and fall fun at the District Farmers Market! From seasonal produce to handmade goodies, there’s something for everyone. 🍂🍏

11/11 - 11/15 - Kindness Week: Bullying Prevention
A whole week dedicated to kindness and friendship! Let’s make a positive impact by spreading smiles, encouraging others, and saying no to bullying. 💖✋

11/12 - PTO Meeting & Family Night
Join us for an evening with the PTO, where we’ll plan upcoming events and strengthen our VRE family ties. All families are welcome! 🎉👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

11/14 - Veterans / Thanksgiving Lunch & Honor Choir
Let’s come together to honor our Veterans! Join us for a special lunch and hear the talented Honor Choir pay tribute to those who have served. 🇺🇸🎶

11/20 - PTO Spirit Night @ Chipotle (5 pm - 9 pm)
Show your Ranch spirit and support the PTO! Enjoy a tasty dinner at Chipotle, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit VRE. 🌯❤️

11/25 - 11/29 - Thanksgiving Break
Enjoy a restful break filled with gratitude, good food, and great company. We’ll see everyone back, recharged and ready for December! 🍁🦃

Parents or guardians of returning students will complete Returning Student Registration in Skyward. If you do not have your username or are unable to reset your password, please complete the form below or you can come up to one of the New Student Registration dates and times above for support.

All students will be required to submit proof of residency, or an updated address affidavit each school year. This summer, parents will receive an email from LaserFiche requesting they upload proof of residency. If you are unable to upload your documents, please contact the school for assistance.

All address affidavits require both parties (the owner of the property and the parent) to have an updated ID with the address that is listed in the Valley Ranch Elementary zone. If you do not have all required documentation within 30 days of enrollment, your child will have to withdraw.

Your student can access Classlink at home. Students will use their normal log in and password to access their Classlink resources at home.

Remember, you can pair with your student through Canvas. Once you have downloaded the app, you can follow the steps in the video to get a pairing code for your student.
