College Applications & Scholarship Information.... Schoolinks
Senior Parent(s), it’s that time of year! The counseling office recognizes the urgency to get your senior’s college applications and transcripts submitted in a timely fashion. To help with this process, we have developed a guide for your senior to maneuver through SchooLinks as they begin to complete the tasks ahead. Please use the linked flyer to help your senior with this process. As a reminder, for all written instructions, seniors must be logged into their SchooLinks account in a separate tab. The counseling office will also host a senior parent night, college application day, as well as senior IGPs in the coming weeks. More information will be shared as we approach those dates.
For questions regarding the application process, please feel free to reach out to your senior’s assigned counselor. For information regarding SchooLinks, you may contact Dr. York at lsyork@greenville.k12.sc.us. “
Wade Hampton High School’s PTSA is trying to raise $20,000 this Fall! All business sponsorship funds will go directly to our teachers’ and their classrooms through teacher grants. Teacher grants allow teachers to request specific materials, programs and curriculum which they want/need to increase the success of their students. Wade Hampton PTSA strives to fulfill as many of these requests as possible. You have the opportunity to partner with us in this endeavor. Businesses donating $500 or more will receive a custom banner with the business’ logo which will be displayed at the front of our school in the carline. This allows for daily exposure for your business and lets parents and students know you support Wade Hampton High School. We hope you will consider partnering with us this school year.
To thank you for your donation, we are offering the following incentives:
Business logo and recognition in the Wade Hampton Parent Newsletter
Banner advertising your business displayed prominently on school grounds for the entire school year
Business name and logo featured on the Wade Hampton PTSA Facebook page and Instagram Page
Please contact us with any questions and THANK YOU for your support.

Chromebook Chargers
There are about 200 students with outstanding chargers from the 2022-2023 school year. If your child has more than one school issued charger, please have them return one. If the charger has been lost, damaged or is not returned, there will be a $35 charge for replacement.
Take notice of the Authorized Exits for students. Unauthorized Exits from unauthorized exit doors will result in an automatic 5 day suspension from school. This safety protocol is in place to ensure we can properly secure our school building at all times. Safety is our top priority. We have been very intentional with teaching students about this priority. Please make a point to discuss this at home as well.
Student Drop Off and Pick Up Procedures
Take notice of the student drop off and pick up map and procedures.
Do:
Pull as close as possible to the crosswalk near the fine arts center. (GREEN ARROWS)
This will maximize the number of cars that can drop off at any given time.
Drop off your student only in the lane closest to the curb (GREEN ARROWS)
Respect the WHHS Faculty and Staff Members that are directing traffic
Use the visitor spaces for parking when going inside the building
Do Not:
Drop off/Pick up in the Teacher and Student parking lot areas. (RED BLOCK AREAS)
Drop off/Pick up along Pine Knoll Drive and neighboring businesses (RED BLOCK AREAS).
Traffic flow can and will be efficient when we all work together.
PTA Membership
Welcome to the 2023-24 school year! The PTA looks forward to us all working together to make a difference at Wade Hampton High School this year!
The easiest way to get involved and stay informed is to join PTA at https://whhs.memberhub.com/store. Your membership goes a long way toward sponsoring teacher mini-grants which provide classroom equipment, funding additional classroom supplies, and much more.
Of course, it takes more than membership dues to make all this happen.
In addition to your membership, please consider becoming a “Friend of the Generals” by donating $10, $25, or $50 to PTA where 100% of your donation will go directly to support WHHS students and staff. You can find the tab to make this tax-deductible donation also on the link above.
Please contact Karen Sharp at 864-355-0370 if you have any questions. Thank you for your continued support of the WHHS PTA!
