2. If by days end, we don't hear from you a phone call will go home alerting you of the unknown absence.

Check In/Out Refresher!
While we love our parents, we don't need to see you to sign your student in/out! Yay for you! Please call the 10th grade office 213-6117 (or email me, Stacy Denton) at the earliest possible time and I will send your student an ehallpass to be excused from class. If/when they return to school, they will need to sign back in at the 10th grade office. This is very important as it ensures correct attendance. We appreciate all that you do!

About South Tech:
At South Tech, we provide students with real-world experiences, real-world skills, and engaging, hands-on learning to prepare them for college and careers. We celebrate the pursuit of their passion and help them find the right pathway to their own success. Our partial-day schedules keep students engaged in their home high school academics and activities while they enjoy experimental learning in Tech's elective courses.
Our tuition-free, career and technical education (CTE) majors allow students to explore their career interests before graduation while earning industry certifications, college and high school credits, and skills that will last a lifetime. We work with an impressive list of business and industry partners that provide our students with mentorship, internships, apprenticeships, part-time employment, scholarships, and full-time employment offers after high school. Our students are in demand.
If you have an IP in your schedule, please see the important information below!
IP Students
Congrats on earning this privilege! Make sure to do the following to prepare for the school year:
1. Review IP Procedures.
2. If you are new to IP, go to the library for your IP period during the first week of school.
3. Complete your Edpuzzle video in the IP Schoology Course.
4. Commit to doing online attendance on time every day.
Students who do not follow IP sign in procedures will be placed in a study block. IP is a privilege extended to students who have demonstrated responsibility and obtained some level of academic success. You can do this simple little thing each day as I see you do many more complex things in the classroom and athletic field.
