Math Curricular Resources
Our elementary school has been working all year on researching, reviewing, and piloting new math curricular resources for potential adoption for the 2024-2025 school year. After narrowing our choices down to two, we are planning to recommend to the board HMH Into Math for grades K-4 for approval starting next year.
If you are interested in reviewing any of the materials before our May 15th board meeting, please contact Megan Rivet (mrivet@trlsd.org), Assistant Superintendent, Teaching & Learning.

TAYLOR HIGH SCHOOL GYM FLOOR NAMED IN MEMORY OF MARTHA J. HEATH
Taylor High School proudly announces the renaming of the competition gym floor in honor of Martha J. Heath, a distinguished figure in the school's athletic history. Martha, inducted into the Taylor Hall of Fame in 2006, made an unforgettable mark as a coach for girls' basketball and volleyball from 1975 to 1980.
Martha's coaching tenure was marked by extraordinary achievements. Her dedication and leadership propelled her teams to remarkable success. Coaching both reserve and varsity teams, Martha's reserve team clinched the league title each year, while the varsity teams achieved Regional tournament qualifications three out of the five years. Notably, in 1979, Martha led the varsity girls' basketball team to the Final Four of the Ohio Girls' State Basketball Tournament, a testament to her exceptional coaching talents.
Recognizing Martha's remarkable contributions, she was honored with the Buddy LaRosa Award twice and named the Cincinnati Enquirer Coach of the Year in 1979. Furthermore, Martha had the distinct privilege of co-coaching the East-West All-Star game. Her impact extended beyond the sports arena when Congressman Charlie Luken declared "Taylor High School" Day in recognition of her achievements.
In a heartfelt gesture to honor his mother's legacy and support the Taylor Athletic Department's ongoing efforts, Martha's son, Matt Heath and his wife, have secured the naming rights for the gym floor for twenty years. This gesture reflects Matt's deep appreciation for his mother's dedication to Taylor's athletic programs and his commitment to fostering the development of young athletes within the Taylor community.
The Three Rivers School District expresses profound gratitude for the tradition of preserving its rich history and honoring the achievements of its graduates. The renaming of the gym floor in memory of Martha J. Heath is a fitting tribute to a remarkable coach and educator whose legacy continues to inspire generations of athletes at Taylor High School.
Three Rivers offers Naming Rights for a wide variety of locations throughout the interior and exterior of the campus. Please click here for an updated list of available spaces to be purchased.
