A Message from our Principal, Mr. Pflugrath...
Dear Osbourn Family,
This will be our last newsletter for the school year and we will resume with weekly newsletters in August. Thank you to all those that assisted with the: senior breakfast, senior walk, rehearsal, senior sunset, and of course our graduation, it was great to see the Class of 2024 celebrate this event together. I wish our seniors all the best, you will be missed! It was great to have our track team in action in the State Championships.
OHS offers intensive SOL boot camps this summer to help students achieve their testing goals. These camps are designed for students who don't need to attend a course in summer school but want focused instruction and resources to excel on their SOL exams only (Reading, Math, Science, and Writing). We strongly encourage students and parents/guardians to reach out to our dedicated counselors, who are happy to guide them through the registration process for these valuable SOL boot camps! More information is on the school website. However, if students require a summer school course to recover credit, they must complete the registration form by June 7th to secure their spot. The registration form can be found on the OHS website.
To register your students for these valuable SOL boot camps and ensure their success, please contact our dedicated counselors today! They're happy to guide you through the process.
To our entire Osbourn Family, thank you for your support this school year. We have an amazing community and your support does not go unnoticed. I am proud of our school, students, and staff. I love it when I see the same Osbourn spirit in Manassas City. Thank you! Thank you for sharing your kids with us. We take that responsibility seriously. I am honored and humbled to be your principal. We are proud of our past and excited for our future. We have a solid plan for next school year and will be working to finalize the details this summer. If you should ever need anything or have a question, feel free to stop by or give us a call, we will be here.
#OneOsbourn!
Sincerely,
Mike Pflugrath
Principal

Our glow of the week is for those that made our graduation such a distinguished event for our students. I would like recognized our Senior Class administrator, Dr. Karla Hogan, and class sponsors Mr. Mark Whitley and Ms. Emily Nelson. Thank you to our graduation coordinator Ms. Cherish Skinker for organizing the special event, and of course our Director of Counseling, Ms. Laura Rotella!
