Dear Razorback Family,
Welcome to 2025! We are so excited to kick off this new year with you and your amazing scholars. As we enter this busy season, we are laser-focused on ensuring every student is prepared for success. The STAAR test is just 53 days away, and we are ready to dive into the hard work that will help our scholars shine!
We ended 2024 with assessments to measure how well our students mastered the required TEKS from the fall semester. This important data will guide us as we launch targeted tutorials both after school and on Saturdays. Together, we’ll make sure our scholars have the support they need to reach their goals.
To help you partner with us on this journey, we invite you to join us for a Parent Data Meeting on January 30th. At this meeting, we’ll share how you can support your scholar’s success at home as we push toward excellence.
Beyond STAAR preparation, there’s a lot to look forward to in 2025! We have several exciting competitions and programs on the horizon, as well as the much-anticipated Spring Field Experience in May. Be on the lookout for more details, including how to participate and the cost.
At Roberson Middle School, our scholars are number one in the district, and we couldn’t be prouder! Now is the time to double down on the resilience and razor-sharp focus that make RMS the best middle school around. Let’s finish these next two nine weeks strong and celebrate every student meeting their growth goals.
Thank you for being such an integral part of our RMS family. Together, we can achieve the impossible!

Message from PTO President, Mrs. Johnson
Happy New Year to everyone! I wanted to inform you of our PHILL THE BOX CLOTHING DRIVE RESULTS.....
Poundage Report for RMS’s clothing drive is:
1,560 lbs and $312 raised
I am grateful for the participation of all that donated clothing and various items. Thank you for thinking of others that are not as fortunate as we are. We look forward to our upcoming SHOE DRIVE in February that will be a competition between communities. The community that collects the most shoes will be rewarded. More details will follow soon.
We notice that students are bringing water bottles to campus, Remember parents all water bottles must be clear, to fill with water while on campus, all Stanley's are taken up and returned at the end of the day because students are not allowed to walk around with them. Take the opportunity to purchase a Bottle from PTO. Your student can keep this water bottle with them all day.
