The Mini Maverick Messenger is our monthly PTA communication to all our wonderful Ogle Families. This is your one stop shop to find upcoming events, fundraisers, photos, volunteer opportunities, & updated information passed along from our PTA meetings. We hope everyone has a fun and safe Spring Break! While you are waiting to catch a plane, ride along for a road trip, or enjoy a staycation at home come check out all the excitement coming up in the next few weeks. As always we appreciate our Ogle Families, without your help our PTA would not be a success! Check out under our upcoming events how you can become more involved next year as we begin to build out our 2024-2025 PTA Board. Don't forget you don't have to join the board to be a part of the PTA, the PTA can be as much or as little as you'd like it to be - either through membership fees, volunteering, attending meetings, or just following along to check out fun events!

In February, we kicked off our new communication through WhatsApp! This is an easy way to receive notifications straight to your phone about upcoming events, dress up days, programs, all the things that can easily slip our minds as busy parents. We had such a fun Friday night with our Ogle Ohana skating at the Comerica Center in Frisco on Feb 23rd! We really appreciate the great turn out, it was a very successful spirit night! We had the opportunity to see so many of our wonderful families, along with staff from Ogle including a few of our awesome teachers and our Principal, Mr McCarty! We will share funds received from the spirit night very soon but in the meantime, we wanted to thank everyone for making it out. If you are interested in more family events like this one, please let our PTA know. We are always looking for new ideas to bring the community together while also helping to raise funds for our favorite school!

Ogle Elementary PTA is seeking parents and guardians interested in joining our board for the 2024-2025 school year. We are currently accepting nominations for Elected and Appointed Officer positions. We welcome all nominations and aim to create a diverse and balanced roster of applicants who represent our school’s demographic.

We are passionate about creating a dynamic team of officers and committee chairs who bring unique perspectives and experiences to the table. Your voice, your ideas, and your energy are not just valued – they're essential to our success. Join us in shaping the future of our school community and making a difference at Ogle Elementary! Serving on the board is also a fantastic opportunity to get to know other Ogle Elementary families and staff!

Our PTA appreciates every volunteer who assists our community, and as a small thank you we will be announcing a volunteer each month who will be awarded with a special thank you. For March, our PTA would like to recognize Cierra Graham! Cierra gives her heart every month as our Ogle PTA Hospitality Chair! If you have seen events this year such as our pie drive for the teachers, wrap & roll event, and cookie exchange (just to name a few!) these were all organized and planned by Cierra! Each month Cierra is in charge of showering our Ogle Staff with some extra love!! She is so thoughtful with each gift and event, from decorating to creating sign ups and delivering items to the school. Cierra is usually seen with one of her kiddos in tow as she sets up, plans, and organizes - a busy mom with a BIG heart! We love you Cierra, thank you for being a part of our PTA and for making such a difference at Ogle!

1. Work Room Volunteers: Supporting our teachers by helping with lamination, cutting, sorting, stapling, etc. *All materials provided and younger siblings are welcome to join*

2. Watch D.O.G.S. (any male figure (or female!)): Spend the day on campus volunteering with your student & helping in your child's classroom

3. Mystery Readers: Calling all Kinder parents! Sign up to be a mystery reader for your kiddo's classroom!
